Why Our Kids Don’t Have The Money Smarts To Live In The Real World

Financial illiteracy is an epidemic in the United States. Fortunately, after 30+ years of work to create content for children, parents and grandparents that teaches how to raise financially responsible children, we’re finally getting there. As a pioneer of the “kids and money” topic in the 1980s, I saw the issue from 30,000 feet, when I searched for materials to teach my own children about money. It’s time we all take an active part in teaching our children the money smarts they need for the real world (or they are doomed to repeat the economic issues we face time-and-time again).
